Releasing Work Safely
See work released properly, executed against a checklist, and what happens when a check fails.
The moment most systems get vague is the moment this one gets specific.
Step 1
A planned job is a plan, nothing more. The path to release begins with readiness verification, run by a person: task identity, hazards, permits, competence, emergency readiness, and Stop Work acknowledgement.
Step 2
Release is not a button you press. Until every section is verified by a person, release stays blocked, and the screen says exactly what is missing. When all sections are verified, the responsible person releases the job to work.
Step 3
In execution, each check is answered honestly. A vibration reading outside tolerance is recorded as failed, with the actual reading attached, not waved through.
Step 4
A failed check cannot disappear through a status change, a template edit, or moving the job. It sits in Open Exceptions with an owner, evidence, and a target date until a person resolves it.
